Health fund rebates

Please make sure you provide the correct health fund cover details in your pre-admission forms. Prior to your admission, a member of our administration team will contact your health fund to establish your level of hospital cover, check that any waiting periods have been served, and if there are any out of pocket payments (excess or co-payments).

Certain procedures may not be covered in your policy and therefore you wouldn’t be eligible for a health fund rebate. You should ask our administration team for the item number that correlates with your desired procedure and then contact your health fund to find out if it will be covered.

It’s important to understand that Medicare may not cover your procedure, so please contact Medicare for further information. Ask our administration team for the item number corresponding to your proposed procedure(s) first.
