Dr Alice Huang

Alice is a consultant gynaecologist specialising in fertility, reproductive endocrinology and fertility preservation. Her interests are in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), management of fibroids, laparoscopic surgery, microsurgery to reverse tubal ligation, fertility preservation and infertility issues.
She graduated with honours from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery in 2002. After receiving the Robert Power Scholarship in Surgery at the Alfred Hospital in her final year of studies, she went on to work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for her surgical residency.
Over the following six years Alice completed her fellowship in obstetrics and gynaecology at hospitals in Victoria and NSW. She has also completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine at the University of NSW.
Prior to joining Melbourne IVF, Alice worked and trained in IVF and infertility at Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital and is now consulting in their Reproductive Services Unit.
Alice speaks fluent Mandarin, offering consultations in Mandarin to patients if preferred.
