Joseph is a fertility specialist providing care to patients in the areas of IVF, male and female infertility, PCOS, Endometriosis, Fertility Preservation, gynaecology and obstetrics.
Dr Joseph provides holistic medical care to support women’s health and wellbeing during fertility treatments (ovulation induction, IUI or IVF), pregnancy and childbirth. His focus is to assist women and couples to achieve pregnancy in even the most challenging of situations and in providing support during pregnancy and childbirth following IVF or if pregnancy was conceived naturally.
Graduating from Monash University in 1998, Joseph then completed three years of physician training at The Alfred Hospital; focusing on endocrinology, diabetic management and cardiology. This places him in a unique position of being able to manage a wide range of complex medical issues associated with either fertility or pregnancy. Joseph has a breadth of experience in obstetrics, general gynaecology and infertility performing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
He has previously held high office on RANZCOG’s and The AMA’s Federal Council. He continues to positively influence female health policymaking as a media spokesperson on women’s health issues and is also on the advisory board at Tiny Hearts.
Joseph continues to mentor future generations of doctors in his role as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at The Royal Women's Hospital and the University of Melbourne.
Continually updating his knowledge with evidence based research, Joseph is committed to improving his patient's outcomes. Compassionate and caring, he is part of a team of nurses, counsellors, scientists and embryologists, striving to support his patients emotionally and medically.
