Pre-admission checklist
Once your procedure has been confirmed by your doctor, you’ll need to fill out the admission forms and send them back to us no less than 72 hours before the day of surgery. You can fill these in online, or ask us for a printed form.

Day of surgery checklist
It’s critical to heed any fasting requirements given to you by our team. You also need to have a friend or relative to take you home after surgery - if you don’t, this may result in your procedure being cancelled. Post-procedure checklist
Most surgeries require us to administer an anaesthetic, which means you can’t drive for at least 24 hours. You should get as much rest as possible in the days following your fertility, gynaecology, IVF or dental surgery, and if there are any issues you should get in touch with your surgeon as soon as possible. If you become unwell during this time, and are unable to contact your surgeon, you should contact your GP, or attend the Emergency department.
